This is Golden. He never goes by Golden though, he's called Rooster or Roosty, most commonly.
He's a Buff Orpington rooster.
I bought him from Tractor Supply Co. as a chick. He was unsexed, so I didn't know if he was a male.
He is almost two years old. April 27 is his gotchya date.
Buff Orpingtons are always rather large, especially the roosters. Roosty is quite heavy.
Buff Orpingtons are also very tame. I can usually pick this big guy up no problem.
I personally think he's a handsome dude. What about you?

Your roaster is so cool! I've always wondered what it would be like to have a baby chick :) he's a big rooster! You can see his size in the picture next to the chicken.
